I've been a member of Dr. Boulanger's Csound class this semester, and I'm posting a few of my compositions for you to hear. I would really love to know what you think, so that I can improve my future work in Csound which I hope to continue far beyond this class.

This is my 6 hour challenge submission. We were allowed 6 hours in which to design or modify instruments in Csound and then use them to compose a piece of music in any sequencer of our choice, using samplers and anything else we so chose.
Six-Hour Catalog Challenge: Jeremy Wolf
Submitted by jeremywolf on Wed, 12/16/2009 - 03:44.This is my submission to Dr. B's Six Hour CSound Challenge, titled "Just Us". I sampled sounds from the CSound Catalog, including those by Mikelson, Vargas, Smaragdis, and Comanjuncosas. Making a cameo is one of Comanjuncosas' 303 emulators, and some slices of one of Smaragdis' pieces I used Instances of Kontakt in Logic 8 to sequence the piece. I won Dr. B's stash of tea.
Csound_6HourChallenge_Fall2009
Submitted by smarte on Wed, 11/25/2009 - 18:47.Most of the instruments are Hans Mikelson and some of my own. I tried to create a dance piece building it up from the first theme which the bass line plays. Basically I sampled the instruments and opened them in Kontakt and processed each of them from there. This is what came out during those 6 hours.
