A new version of WinXound (3.3.1) for Windows, OsX and Linux is ready for download.
Let me know ...
Csound is a sound design, audio synthesis, and signal processing system, providing facilities for music composition and performance on all major operating systems and platforms. Its use is not restricted to any style of music, having been employed for many years in the creation of classical, pop, techno, ambient, experimental, and (of course) computer music, as well as music for film and television.[Read more]

I’m happy to announce the first ALPHA release of Csoundo, a Csound library for Processing. Processing is "an open source programming language and environment for people who want to create images, animations, and interactions." With Csoundo, users can explore audio with visuals, export f-tables to custom high resolution SVG graphs, and create custom GUI interfaces to their synths. Video of Csoundo in action can be seen here.
Members of the Csound community have reported successfully running Csoundo on OS X, Windows and Linux. OS X requires version 5.12.4. Linux requires special handling, see this Csound mailing list thread for details.

On Wednesday May 5, 2010 a "Mini Symposium on the Work of Professor Barry Vercoe" was held at The MIT Media Lab. As a tribute to Barry Vercoe, a dozen of Dr.B's top Csound and DSP students @ Berklee did remixes of his famous piece for viola and computer: Synapse. Here are links to the remixes and to the contact information for each of the remix artists.

QuteCsound 0.5.0 is ready! This version is a big rewrite of the QuteCsound internals which enable running several documents simultaneously. It also includes many new features like python file support and python scripting for the live event sheet.
QuteCsound is a frontend for Csound featuring a highlighting editor with autocomplete, interactive widgets and integrated help. It can open files created in MacCsound, and aims to be a simple yet powerful and complete development environment for Csound.
QuteCsound has been tested on Windows, OS X, Linux and Solaris, and it is free software released under the LGPLv2 or at your option GPLv3.
There are binary packages for Windows and OS X, and a source package for other platforms.
