I recently downloaded Csound5 and am having problems running the Csound and cs programs. The csnd will not load for Python24, but I am going to try Python25 as suggested in the requirements list.
I think the problem may be I using the 64-bit version. I'm going to try the 32-bit version too.
Any comments or suggestions?

The 64-bit "d" version should work fine. That just refers to floating-point precision, not your CPU.
We could really use more information please. Which version of Csound (5.??) did you install? What command line options or GUI are you using? Also, please post your complete orchestra/score/CSD and the full output that Csound prints to the screen.

I've downloaded the 32-bit version and Python25 and things work.
My system is a PII 366Mhz with 256Mb RAM. The programs would open a crash dialog box and terminate when I closed it. I think the 64-bit version may have been too much for my PII. Thanks.
