I am having trouble with Lpread in Csound 5.05 - Csound reports a PERF error indicating that ktimpt < 0, even if I force it with an absolute value or freeze ktimpt with an integer.
I am currently using CsoundVST, and for the specific purpose of reading LPC files, I guess I can go back to 4.23 or earlier and just code the .orc and .sco, but then, of course, I lose all the benefits of CSound5 and the flexibility of CsoundVST.
Why not just PVOC? Sometimes I prefer the sharper textures generated by the (relative)instability of LPC files.
Anyone with any insight as to why Lpread is busted in Csound5?
Thanks - Alex

Re: LPC in Csound5
I think that it was only broken in the 64-bit "doubles" version of Csound 5. There was a recent bug fix for this case that will be in Csound 5.11. Hopefully, it will solve your issue too when it comes out.
