Hi Gilles,
Most of the files installed by the Csound installers go to some non-obvious places on MacOS X. So are you sure nothing was installed? Look for
/Library/Frameworks/CsoundLib.Framework
and try using the "Go to Folder..." command in the Finder and type in
/usr/local/bin
You should see a file called "csound" there. If that is the case, then you can confirm that Csound is working by opening a terminal window (/Applications/Utilities/Terminal) and typing
/usr/local/bin/csound
If that successfully prints out the Csound "help" information, then you are OK. Csound is essentially a command-line application and that is the way many people interact with it. If you would like a more Mac-friendly way of using Csound, then you should also install the program MacCsound. You can download it from here:
If this does not solve your problem (or you already knew all of this) then please post again (maybe to the Csound mailing list) and we will try to help further!

I've checked in /Library/Frameworks/ and there's nothing about csound.
I've looked for in all my hardisk and there's nothing at all.
in fact, when I install it, it goes (anormaly) quikly.

Hmm ... well, I am not sure what could be wrong. I removed Csound from my OS X computer and downloaded the Csound5.07-OSX10.4-PPC.tar.gz package. I decompressed it and double-clicked on the package Csound5.mpkg and did an "Easy Install". This installed all three of the other packages and everything appeared to be there as it should be.
Gilles, have you just tried re-downloading the file? Otherwise, can you give us a little more information like what version of OS X and type of computer you are on? I am not sure what else to go on ...

Great! I'm glad that you have gotten Csound to install and work now. Good luck. And consider joining the mailing list -- it is a great source for inspiration and help.

Re: can't install
You do have administrative privileges on the computer to which you are trying to install, correct?
