does anyone know where I can download a copy of csound5 for windows (doubles or floats, preferably both) which includes the VST opcodes? this was the major reason I upgraded to v5, to use and automate vst plugins, and it turns out the sourceforge release doesn't include them. :(
p.s.-- the link to Csound5.11.rc1-gnu-win32-vst-d.exe at michael gogins' site doesn't seem to work. Could I persuade anyone to email me a copy of this file? or know of a mirror anywhere?

re: vst opcodes
I just tried the link at his site, and it worked for me.

As far as I know, Mike's site is the only place where you can find the vst stuff as binaries. I believe the sources at SourceForge do include the sources for CsoundVST, you'll just have to compile them yourself. Perhaps this thread will give you some insight.

vst4cs doesn't work
I installed diffferent versions of CSound 5.11 from the link
http://michael-gogins.com/archives/Csound5.11.rc1-gnu-win32-vst-d.exe
as well as from
http://michael-gogins.com/archives/Csound5.11.1-gnu-win32-vst-d.exe.
vst4cs.dll does not work from both.
I get the message:
VSTPlugin::Instance.
Loaded plugin library 'E:\Music\CSound\mda Piano.dll'.
Found 'main' function at 0x2d71276.
VSTPlugin::Master(AEffect 0x0, opcode 1 audioMasterVersion, index 0, value 0, ptr 0x0, opt Csound tidy up: Segmentation violation
>Exit code: 1
Honestly I don't know what to do.
I read in former chats, that it will work when I install Csound5.11 with the option "complete". It doesn't.
I uninstalled and re-installed. No success.
It worked fine with 5.10. Should I downgrade to it? Does 5.10 work with Python 2.6.2?
Any other solutions - maybe directly from Mike Gogins? Could somebody help me?
Many thanks in advance for support.

I would suggest that you ask Michael on the Csound mailing list. He is active there almost daily and is the man to ask about this. Honestly I don't think the gurus read these forums.
