re: Csound compatible with Presonus 26x26???
I don't know if you got a response or not, but for the sake of others on the forum who may have a similar question, I'll post an answer.
While I can't be 100% sure since I've never actually used the Presonus 26x26, I can say that Csound uses PortAudio to communicate with ASIO drivers. Since the Presonus, I believe, uses ASIO, it should work fine. All of the ASIO gear I've used--which, admittedly, isn't actually extensive--has worked with Csound without trouble. MIDI and surround is also not a problem.
