how to uninstall csound

I think I killed my csound installation by overinstalling the power pc version over the intel one to try and get maccsound to work. maccsound did start after doing so but closed itself (without crashing, oddly) when trying to render any audio.
before I installed the ppc version, the command line command 'csound' would work fine, but now it gives this error:

dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/local/lib/libsndfile.1.dylib
Referenced from: /usr/local/bin/csound
Reason: no suitable image found. Did find:
/usr/local/lib/libsndfile.1.dylib: mach-o, but wrong architecture
/usr/local/lib/libsndfile.1.dylib: mach-o, but wrong architecture
Trace/BPT trap

my idea is to uninstall all csound and begin from scratch, but I have no real clue which files are important for doing so and if there is maybe an automated way of doing this. I have to admit I am not the most versatile with mac either, so any help is really appreciated. if I can at least have the command line back, I would be happy. thanks :)

re: how to uninstall csound

I've looked around before, and I honestly don't have a clue as to how to uninstall Csound. However, I used to have the PPC version on my Intel machine to use MacCsound, and after getting sick of MacCsound crashing all the time, I just installed the Intel version over it. I haven't had any problems with this; have you tried it? Generally, "mach-o, but wrong architecture" errors mean you are using incompatible PPC stuff on Intel Macs, though I wonder in your case the opposite is true.
