This podcast is dedicated to my delvings into Csound I made in college, as well as recent explorations in reacquainting myself with the program. All of the pieces currently available for listen here were projects done for class, so some may not be as complex as others, but in returning to the program for a project I'm currently working on, I hope to go further into my study and work with the program. These pieces were created in 1999 and 2000 as I was studying Csound with Dr. Robert Scott Thompson at Georgia State University. The pieces are "Dark Fantasia", "Ambient Noiz", "Electronic Melody", and "Radio Noir", and all are featured on my 2000 album "Dark Experiments", available at http://www.cdbaby.com/skutle2 and download sites such as iTunes. I hope you enjoy what I have to offer, and feel free to check out my website (listed below) for more of my music and more information on me.
Also added, for your listening pleasure, is the Csound materials I created for an epic track entitled "Searching For the Mysteries", which was created for my fourth album entitled "Beyond the Infinite: A Musical Odyssey", my ambitious homage to "2001: A Space Odyssey". I hope you enjoy it!
Thanks for listening,
**I recently created a video accompaniment to "Radio Noir" based on ideas had recently. Go to my YouTube page here it is for you for your viewing pleasure.**
