Hello everyone,
I have a very specific query. I have a very old file which is in .orc format, created in Voyetra's Midi Orchestrator Plus (which is now legacy and not supported).
I still have the file (about 8 tracks of MIDI parts of about 8 bars each) but I no longer has the originating software, cannot find any version which doesn't involve downloading from the more dodgy end of the torrent marketplace, I no longer have a floppy drive (I still have the disks from Voyetra) and I am now running Vista!!!!
Is there any currently available (ideally freeware) software that I can run this sequenced piece of MIDI as a .orc file?
My wish is to convert to MIDI or similar file type and take the piece into music notation (staves and dots) in preparation for an arrangement for a string quartet to then play at my upcoming wedding.
Obviously this is a long shot but I would be really grateful if with the help of other forum users here I could hear this piece again and then get it onto staves.
thanks very much.

Not that kind of '.orc'!
I'm afraid that the .orc file you have is a Voyetra format -- not the Csound version. (And a Csound .orc wouldn't have the score data in it anyway.) If you don't have the MIDI version, and have no access to any software that might be Voyetra compatible, you're probably out of luck. Sorry.
