Hello Csounders,
I am loving the new cSounds.com! And this new blogging feature for Csounders is amazing -- I expect many useful things to come out of it.
Before I go any further, let me say that I am not a normal "blogger" -- I have no interest in writing about my daily experiences, even if Csound-related. But, I think being able to post updates to cSounds.com about the development work that I am doing on various computer music tools -- especially release announcements -- could be a great way to keep more Csound users informed of new and updated software that may improve their music-making experiences.
Most of the work that I do is on software for the Classic MacOS or MacOS X. I maintain the MacOS 9 port of Csound and some of its utilities. I also have ported a few Csound-related tools to MacOS X (Bol Processor, CMask, and Corn Bucket).
If you want to know when these tools are updated, then check back here or subscribe to the RSS feed for my blog. To check out the projects that I have worked on to date, surf on over to http://anthonykozar.net/
Thanks.

CSound on OS X/Intel?
Can anyone point me in the correct direction to get Csound (particularly MacCsound and blue) running with OS X 10.4.11 on an Intel iMac?
I have a high school course that is intending to use this software and I've hit a semi-disaster caused by the upgrade of the music lab to Intel-based Macs.
OSX on Intel
For my beginning class at Berklee we install Csound5.08 PPC version and MacCsound as the front-end.
That will work for you and be a more user-friendly environment for your beginners to get going with Csound.
For my research and advanced classes, I re-install the Intel Version of 5.08 and use Smultron with the extensions and shortcuts developed and posted
by Pieman some time ago. These allow me to launch a terminal version of Csound5 from the editor and to jump to the manual from the editor as well - with a keyboard shortcut as well.
