Hello folks!
I live in Kingston,Ontario, and am just wondering if there are any users close-by whose brains I can 'pick' with questions regarding C Sound.
Or, if there's anyone on the site (user or otherwise) who'd be willing to mentor by answering e-mails questions which may come up as I'm learning the syntax of C Sounds.
The possibilities of the program are interesting, but the learning curve (exponential? HA!)is pretty steep.
I've got my mountain gear on!

I've learned from trying to get help here that you would see more action in the Csound Nabble forum. There might even be threads teaching to beginners.
As I am a beginner too, I hope the learning curve is sigmoidal... :)

I am likely the closest Csound user to you geographically, as I live in Toronto. Still quite a hike of course, but I would be glad to help out via email if I can. As you may have figured out, the mailing list is the main place for Csound discussion and for getting help. I strongly suggest you join the mailing list.
With regards to the learning curve, it is really not as bad as you might initially think.
