quicktime setup for nescape navigator:

[+] First download and install the latest version of the Qicktime Plug-in.
go to Apple's Quicktime Download Area

[+] Properly installed, a copy of the Quicktime Plug-in should be in Netscape Plug-ins folder.
The Plug-ins folder should be in the same folder than the Netscape Browser:

1.check Nescape Plug-ins folder:



2.there you should find a copy of the Quicktime Plugin:



[+] Next we'll need to configure Netscape so that the Quicktime Plug-in plays the Catalog audio files:

1.Open Nestcape

2.Then check Netscape Preferences, found under the Edit menu:



3.That should bring out the Preferences Window.

4.In the left menu find and click on Navigator-Applications:



5.Then in the right menu look for Description: Video/x-mpeg
Double click on it

6.That will bring up the Edit Type window,
In handled by select Plug-In and make sure to pick the Quicktime Plug-in in the pull-down menu
File type: MooV:



7.Click OK, close all those windows and you are ready to go.

quicktime setup for internet explorer:

The Plug-ins folder should be in the same folder as Internet Explorer:

1.check Explorer's Plug-ins folder:



2.there you should find a copy of the Quicktime Plugin:



[+] Next we'll need to configure Explorer so the Quicktime Plug-in plays the Catalog audio files:

1.Open Internet Explorer

2.Check Explorer's Preferences, found under the Edit menu:



3.That should bring out the Preferences Window.
In the left menu find and click Receiving Files - File Helpers:



4.In the right menu find and click Quicktime movies - File Extension .mov:



5.That should bring up the File Helper Edit window
There you set up what application the file belongs to, and how to handle the file:



6.First, lets do the File Type, click on browse [under File Type],
a dialog window will appear, find and select the Quicktime Player:



7.Then, lets do the Handling, click on browse [under Handling],
a dialog window will appear, find and select the Quicktime Plug-in:



8.Then, also under Handling use the How to handle Pull-Down menu to select:
View with Plug-in:



9.Click OK on both the File Helper Edit and Preferences Window.
Now your copy of Internet Explorer is ready to go.
